Linda Dessaint

“Capturing emotion through light and shadows, colors and shapes, thought and instinct….. this is art for me. My intention is to convey the energy of the moment into an experience for everyone. Born in Peterborough, New Hampshire, I have always lived in New England. The constant change and beauty of the shifting seasons inspires me. I am grateful for the support and love of my wonderful family and friends who have taught me to appreciate and look closely at nature, at life.”

Award winning artist, Linda Dessaint is a Signature Member of the Pastel Painters of Maine. She also enjoys professional affiliations with other groups, including: the New Hampshire Pastel Society, Sharon Art Center, Hillsborough Area Artisans, Women’s Caucus for the Arts and the Monadnock Area Art Association.

She studied art with the late Russ Russell of Antrim, Robert Carsten,PSA of Vermont, master painter Albert Handell of New Mexico, and most recently Richard McKinley, PSA of Oregon.
